Ben 是我的妹夫 . 他们一家人和两个孩子现在居住 California. 这些照片都是他到北京旅游时所拍的. 他们去了万里长城 , 紫禁城 (故宫) , 天安门广场 ........

很抱歉 , 这一叠照片还没有说明是因为我手头上还没有足够有关的资料.

Ben is my brother-in-law. His family and 2 children lives in California . These photographs were taken during their trip to Beijing. They have gone to The Great Wall , The Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square........

我眼中的Sausalito

Sausalito ( www.ci.sausalito.ca.us/ 英语)　是美国三藩市湾区（San Francisco Bay Area)的城市，它位于Marine County．由金门大桥(Golden Gate Bridge )连接的北部的地方．你可以乘车经过金门大桥或乘坐渡轮 (Ferry) 到达那里．

Sausalito 在西班牙语是小柳树林 (small willow grove )的意思．还记得由黎明和张曼玉主演的　"一见钟情＂吗？这套电影就是在这里拍的.

去旅游时，我通常会对当地的交通工具很感兴趣．－－－脚踏车 (Bicycle)

警车－－－那位警察叔叔差不多把车子给挤满了 !

豪华轿车－－－A big limousin.

外形美观的建筑物．

简单的码头.

街景.

精品店内的摆设, 令我有 "全部都买回去" 的冲动.

中国只对外开放了13 个陵墓中的其中一个 ----- 定陵是在深27 米的地底.

China has only opened one of the 13 tombs in Beijingfor archeological excavation. The project kicked off in1956. Dingling ( Ding Tomb) is underground and about 27 metre deep.

三样出土文物. 全部出自万历帝的随葬器物箱内.

定陵出土的凤冠 (Empress's Crown ).

定陵(Ding Tomb) (built in 建于1584-1590) , 占地面积为本18万平方米(18,0000 sqm) 为万历帝朱翊钧 (Emperor Zhu Yijun) 和孝瑞,孝靖皇后(2 Empresses )的合葬墓( mausoleum ). 主体由, 地下部分1957年发掘地宫. 出土文物近( archeological excavation ) 3000件(pieces). 其中有四件国宝 : 金冠, 凤冠 , 夜明珠和明三彩.

万历帝的金冠, 制于明代(Ming Dynasty 1368- --1644 ) - 是在1958 年由中国考古学院考古研究所 , 在发掘北京市骨平县明代定陵时所发现的. 它重一斤六两, 用了150根细如发丝的金丝制成. 整个帽子找不到一个接头处.它是中国发掘的唯一的一件皇帝的金冠. 金冠的两側有两条金龙, 居中是火焰珠宝. 更象征着皇家金银工艺的高超水平.

玉器( Jade ) 多产自中国新疆 ( Xiangjiang , China ). 多数用作为贡品.

左为玉盘 ( left : Jade Basin ). 右为玉耳杯. (right : Jade Cup)

The illustration said that the jade ware unearthed from Ding Ling ( Ding Mausoleum) were made with material from Xiangjiang , China. Jade ware was mostly used as a tribute to the imperial court .

银器多数用为日用器皿. 这些多数是孝靖皇后的随葬品. Silver ware mostly used as daily utensil. These are the empress 's funerary object .
