大红灯笼高高挂 - Raise the Red Lanterns

新年的脚步将近，所以大家都把自己的家里，用红色灯笼装饰自家的大门。

当黑夜来临，看到家家户户都大红灯笼高高挂，我一时兴起，就叫好友JL 驾着汽车，兜着我去拍照。先要谢谢JL ，是因为她，我才有这一系列的红灯笼帖子丰富我的部落格内容。我只是坐在汽车内用手快拍，没有用三脚架，也没开闪光灯。

Chinese New Year is just around the corner, thus every house decorates their home with red lanterns in order to boost the new year mood.

Afte seeing those red lanterns , I suddenly think of taking some pictures of those red lanterns which hanging beautifully at this residential area here. I asked one of my best friend, JL drove me around to take these photos. I would like to thank her for helping me out. Because of her , I can have this series of red lantern photos that would make my blog more lively. I took these photos in the car without a tripot and flashlight.

通常红灯笼的数目是由双双对对的两个到几十个不等。居民们还用其他的闪烁彩灯来配搭。

这八个整整齐齐，简简单单的八个红灯笼，

8是代表 = 发？

The number of the lanterns are usually come in pairs or at least two. The residents also use other blinking lights to decorate their houses .This house is decorated neatly with only 8 simple lanterns . The number of 8 signified "to be rich" in chinese pronunciation.

屋主需要花心思来设计灯笼和灯泡的位置。

The house owners need to design how and where to place the lanterns and blinking lights.

每个家庭都有不同的设计。

Every house has their own design.

I actually wanted to take the photo of the lanterns from other view for this house , but the house owner just came back , I had to give up and went on my photo-taking for the night.
