牛年的团圆饭- Reunion Dinner @ Assam House ,Ipoh

我将这篇帖子献给远在美国加州的妹妹 和新加坡的弟弟。他们因为时空的关系而不能和我同吃团圆饭。这餐团圆饭是我和父亲，小弟和弟媳四个人吃的。饭局是预先定位。时间傍晚6点。 可能太多食客定位，他们连马路也占据了。

I dedicate this post to my sister ( California Life ) and brother ( Singapore) who can't join me for our reunion dinner. The dinner is taken by four of us , my father and I , my youngest brother and his wife. We need to book the table and the time is 6.00pm.The business must be very good until they need to occupy half of the road.

Assam House 是坐落于is located at Greentown，Ipoh 。
室内的装潢 The interior of the restaurant.

天花板上红红的布条装饰 ，很抢眼。

The red banner looks striking.

甜，酸，香，辣是这间餐厅的主题。

The theme of this restaurant :

Sweet , Sour, Smells good , Spicy.

墙壁是髹上苹果绿，座椅是苹果绿，

连女侍者穿的制服也是苹果绿。

这令我想起一个作家的故事。

他很讨厌家里的佣人走来走去，

所以就叫所有的佣人都穿上和墙壁同样的颜色的制服。

The paint of the restaurant is apple green, the seats are in apple green , so is the uniform of the waitresses.It makes me think of an author who didn't like his servants walking around in the house, so he ordered them to wear uniform . The colour of the uniform is same colour of the wall.

年年有鱼 Deep Fried Fish

鱼尾 Fish tail.

这一道是阿三虾。虾不是很新鲜。

Assam Prawns that are not too fresh.

炸鸡 Fried Chicken

糖水： Sweet Treats

为什么没有蔬菜？我也不知道，因为是套餐，

也可能厨房不想浪费时间来炒菜，

所以团圆饭是没有菜的。都是预先炸好的食物，

只要配上热的浆汁就行。

Why there were no vegetables ? I don't know.

It was a set dinner , also , the kitchen staff might not want to waste time to prepare the frying of vegetable , so the reunion dinner had no vegetable at all.All the food were prepared earlier and it was just need to pour some sauce on top of the dish.
