植物的根多数生长在土地下，所以我们对根的了解也很少。
植物将水分用于光合作用（photosynthesis) , 还需要水分来维持植物的挺直与避免枯萎。
水更是植物活细胞中最丰富的成分，通常占一棵植物总重量的70 % 至95%。
我从不知道，树根是可以长得如此可爱。
这些根是我家附近的一个小池塘拍摄到的。
在碧绿的池塘里，乳白色的树根显得特别显眼。
纵横交错的根，在水里吸收着它需要的水分和矿物质，也形成一幅美丽的图案。
随着天气的干旱，这池塘也慢慢变小，也渐渐也干涸，也渐渐长满了野草，这可爱水根的情景也不复存在了。
